Welcome to the website of the Institute for Medical Biometry, Informatics and Epidemiology (IMBIE)

The IMBIE is part of the Medical Faculty of the University of Bonn. Our main focus is on the development & implementation of novel biostatistical methods, in particular in the fields of regression modeling and statistical learning. Furthermore, we provide support in the planning and analysis of clinical & epidemiological studies.

The IMBIE co-hosts the Clinical Trial Coordination Unit of the University Hospital Bonn, the BioBank Bonn, and the Core Unit for Bioinformatics Data Analysis.
